Mark Baxter
- Musician and music teacher since 1990. Worked at various music stores and music schools in the UK and Belgium. In Belgium since 2007.
- Now based in Waterloo, but I'm also available in Brussels and online.
- 800+ private students taught. Some have gone on to write and record their own music, perform at gigs, jam sessions, open mics, national TV talent shows, even the Eurovision song contest... 700+ songs taught.
- I focus on most modern styles of music on electric and acoustic guitars, ukulele and bass.... Blues, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Reggae, Bossa Nova, Folk, Country... Not so much Classical music.
- Formed The Manneken Pistols band with students in 2014 and The KBH Boogie Band in 2018. Introduced 35+ students to live playing. Many gigs played in and around Brussels and London... clubs, theaters, bars and on outside stages in front of sometimes large crowds. Recording sessions at professional studios.
- Now working with another student group, ROCKTAGON, an eight-peice, due to play their first gig soon (November 2024). I play drums in ROCKTAGON.
- I perform around Brussels from time to time, solo and with other bands: bar gigs, conferences, dinner parties...
- Currently playing in an acoustic duet with talented singer Alice Cucca. Available for parties and events in Brussels. See our video demo below.
- I would be happy to help you on your guitar, ukulele or bass journey.

I put the prompt "Guitarist, oil painting" into Dall-E text to image AI generator. It produced this image which looks strikingly similar to me. So, I use this image to appear important enough to be a worthy subject of a talented painter :)
That looks like a F13 chord being played in the painting.
